1974 Triumph TR-6 1974 TRIUMPH TR-6 Additional Info:
Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this highly original and attractive TR-6 convertible. This car was just purchased out of a Canadian car collection, but it had been sourced from Southern California just a few years prior, having lived here for most all of it's life. This car exudes a very original charm about it with it's believed factory applied original Sienna Brown paintwork- a very desirable color back in the 1970's. A friend of mine sold TR-6's when they were new cars, and told me they just couldn't keep these color TR-6's in stock. They were the hottest color in the showroom...The body and paintwork on this car looks 100% factory original. The seller bought this California car for his collection only after having the car thoroughly checked over. It's perfect factory applied light orange peel look that is convincingly original. I haven't paint-metered the car all over it yet, but it looks the part. There's no overspray or tape lines detected. Along with the paintwork, the car's light lenses, brightwork, bumpers, glass, rubber all look lovely and original, in great low mileage condition. The car's original and unavailable "brushed" style dull beauty rims are near perfect, another indication of the car's low miles. Correct-appearing Redline tires add to the car's allure. The car's interior shares the same story here. It appears to be completely original and in lovely overall condition, save for a renewed quality black carpet kit in the same style of the original, and an original style replacement top with the correct reflective stripe. The engine compartment presents exceptionally clean and original throughout, the textured green replacement cooling hoses in keeping with the factory fitted ones. The car's painted trunk area is virtually unmarked showing an original Michelin Redline spare tire, original jack and handle, and lug wrench.Overall, this wonderful low mileage TR-6 in a great original period color exudes an original charm about it that few cars can match. It's been preserved and carefully updated/improved where necessary, only with the best original replacement materials. Please look at all pictures and call or email with any questions. We will assist in shipping worldwide.
