1977 Triumph Spitfire Additional Info:
I have owned this car since 1997. It has never been driven in the rain while I have owned it, and I have personally performed all maintenance. Upgrades include a Rimmer Brothers stainless twin exhaust, attached to a 4 to 2 to 1 header (non stainless), a one-of-a-kind birds-eye-maple dashboard (I made it), 5 x wire wheels, a laptop-programmable distributor, twin SU HS4s (British Spec) with K&N filters, and an oxygen sensor and gauge to monitor fuel air mixture.
It is an overdrive car which is in good condition, although there are a few small dents, nicks and touch -ups etc. See all pictures. The car has a brand new catalytic converter, has Oregon plates and tags good through August 2021, and custom plates. I began to reupholster the seats, and the driver's seat is not completed. Beaverton upholstery quoted $250-$300 To finish the job, but could not do it until October, I will be out of the state by then and my agent (my nephew) will be handling the exchange, so the new owner would need to get the work on the seat finished. The driver glove box also needs re-installation, which is two small bolts and two screws. I was unable to get to it before moving to the East Coast.
The car is currently stored in a garage at my sister's house in Yacolt Washington. As mentioned already, upon sale and full receipt of all funds, my nephew will meet with the buyer at the storage address and handle the exchange.
The speedometer was replaced so the actual mileageis unknown, as is what work was performed prior to my ownership.
