ABOUT THE CLASSIC CAR : * “Read all the way to the end”.
I have own this beautiful Classic British Roadster for over 5 Years Now, It’s a TRIUMPH TR6 1974 W Factory InstalledA/C (Not hook up) Rare!!!! Odometer show Car has only 18,035 Miles on it. (Not sure on the actual mile) It may be a fact. I can only attest to it because the previous owner (own it for over 10 years) never drove it always garage and I own many other cars so I did not put miles in it. In the FIVE (5) YEARS OF MY OWNWERSHIP I put in only 467.4 miles in 5 years since I own it. Always garage kept as you can see in the checker flag tile floor. that was the car's home for the last 4 1/2 years. Now that I had move; it's also garage but not air-condition garage. So this car may have Only 18,035 Miles also it may be true because of how strong motor is. But cannot verified it. Worse comes to worse; it may or may not have turn over and if it has, then the car actuals miles maybe 118,035? witch its still is very low for a car of 45 years old. That's amazing. That's old!! 45+!! Wow!!! AND ORIGINAL!!!!! That's what makes this car unique and valuable and rare. I believed it was re-spray with same paint at some point on it's life.
The previous owner had the Air Condition removed as he was going to re-install after restoration. As in the boxes of parts (As seen in pictures) all included in the sale. In parts, you can see the A/C Compressor and all the houses, brackets, etc. for the A/C. Also, in the old Pictures you can see the A/C unit installed in the Car about 6-7 years ago. This TR-6 has received extensive service (By the previous owner and my self) to ensure that it is ready for the road ahead including a resent, oil change, a carburetor adjustment, a new clutch, master cylinder, slave cylinder, and much, much more. Long list. (See receipts, See pitures) The result is a TR6 that is a true joy to drive and instantly makes apparent the reason so many people fell in love with the little British lightweight Sport Roaster. The body is in very good condition with minimal to moderate signs of rust (see pictures), and the interior of the car is in good shape. There’s rust on floor panel (Driver’s Side) witch I’m including left side floor panel as part of the sale, passenger side may have to be replace or repair in the future. The convertible top frame is intact, (All parts there) the soft-top may have to be repair or re-place. Both seats and door panels are in it’s original condition. They are in really good shape. It is an excellent example of the TR6 and could either make for an excellent candidate for a restoration project or could be enjoyed exactly as it is!
MANY PARTS INCLUDED IN THIS SALE. & LOTS OF DOCUMENTATION (SEE ALL PICTURES). CAR SHOWS 18,035 MILES (Not sure if original) But no wear and tear on motor or pedals? Motor very strong. (See video) I have only put in 467.4 Miles for the five (5) year period I have own the car. No issues at all.
Condition and General Info:
I Drive this car often, every other weekend or at least once a month, (Must of time, short distance) to some British car shows or Classic / Antique Car shows. Sometimes as far as 100 miles (Both way). No issues. Motor is Strong. Almost everything works, wipers, turn signals, lights, horn, radio, windows cranks, Backup Lights, Hazard Lights,Etc.
I WANTED TO DO A FULL RESTORATION; BUT NEVER GOT THE TIME AND I JUST PURCHASELAND IN THE MOUNTAIN AND WANT TO BUILDA WOOD CABIN. I WOULD LOVE TO KEEP IT, & LATER IN MY NEW CABIN HOME WITH TRIPLE CAR GARAGE, DO THE RESTORATION; BUT I NEED THE FUNDS FOR THE MOUNTAIN BUILT. Then later (once I’m done) I will buy the same car again and few others similar to this like Alfa Romeo, MG, Fiat, Aston Haylie, lotus, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Etc, and continued my passion and love for the small British roasters and Small Convertibles.
This is a 4 speed manual “NO OVERDRIVE” It’s 100% ORIGINAL Low Miles and you can tell by how strong the motor runs. Pedal Pads look Amazing. No wear or tear, Like if they have never been use. My lost; your gain.WILL miss this little car.

From 1rst to fourth and Reverse. Car drive great! See Videos. The Undercarriageis in good shape. No rust on main chassi, Some Rust on bottom of door panel (Driver’s side) floor.(Normal on this cars) There is one small dents on front driver side. About golf ball size. Just behind front light. (See it in the picture) or Video. This Classic Car is painted with British Racing Rally Green Exterior Color. I have own the car for about 5 years now and never an issued. One thing that does happens in some cases; key ignition sometimes gets stock and started keeps gone. It may need to be service. But all you do is remove the negative cable from batteryto turn off; then put it back and you go to go. All it may need is lubrication so it doesn’t get stock? Or replace with new or used ignition? Chassisis solid and no mayor rust.
Thanks for looking. Good Luck. This is a great Car to keep. Call me or email me if any questions. USE THE BUY NOW OPRTION!!!!
THIS IS A “NO RESERVE” OPTION.
*Re-listed for none paying Bidder. He made a mistake.?
Little History:
The Triumph TR6 is one of the most widely adored offerings from the United Kingdom back in1970s and is generally considered one the last of the pure, lightweight British sports cars. It was the natural continuation in a line of lightweights build by Triumph, and improved upon both the classic styling of the TR4A and the punchy power plant of the TR5. The square body was praised for its masculine design while the 2.5L inline 6 cylinder engine was praised for both its performance and durability. As a result, the TR6 was a huge market success for Triumph with just under 92,000 examples being produced. Its replacement, the TR7, while a success in terms of sales numbers failed to garner the same affection. Soon after the end of its production life-cycle, the TR6 was recognized by British motoring enthusiasts as the gem that it truly was. The classic styling, lightweight body, responsive handling, and robust inline 6 resulted in one of the most memorable British sports cars of the 60s and 70s. Today, they are becoming more and more collectible, with a relative few of the original 91,000 remaining in solid, drivable condition.
