1976Triumph Spitfire 1500 – Original, Not Restored

This is an unusual classic car in that it's British from the 70's and not rotted out, perfect for a rebuild project. This car was owned by a military person and was in Hawaii, then California and finally ended up in Connecticut. It has been garaged in CT since about 1997. The mileage is 70083. It has a Weber carb currently mounted with extras, see below. This car ran when it was garaged about 20 years ago but I have not tried to start it since. The motor is very clean. The interior can best be described as ratty. It's all original and needs some TLC but the floor pans are not rusty and still have the original paint. The top and plastic windows are in good condition considering the age and don't appear to have been exposed to the weather much. The primed panel is not from rust but from a dent.

If you are looking for a Spit project car this is perfect as you won't spend all your time and money fixing rusty panels.
