This is your chance to own the most unique early TR around. Built using as many original, unroadworthy TR parts as possible (saving good parts for road-going cars) almost every part that can be cut open has been. Turning the hand crank rotates the engine (which can also be done using the starter), showing most internal parts in motion. The clutch can be engaged and disengaged, and the transmission can be shifted. The action of the drivetrain can be followed all the way to the road wheels. The front and rear suspension have been modified to allow a person to move them up and down, and the brakes have also been cut open.
It also highlights common failure points.
This is the chassis shown at the VTR nationals a couple of years ago, and was very popular.
There are a few things left that the new owner can cut open or alter to become part of the cutaway experience, but that is not necessary to show and enjoy this one-of-a-kind chassis.
It must be picked up locally in the Dallas area. The chassis does not run. At shows, and for loading onto a trailer, it must be pushed. Luckily, it is light for a ‘car’. There is no title, but Ebay required mileage and a commission a number.
