Vehicle Overview
25 year owner of a Rock Solid TR3 Roadster with exceptional RUN nad DRIVE!! |
This car came to me from its 25 year owner. The Triumph script on the nose was missing the "I" so in the spirit of the elections and some giggles I left it off and present to you a 1959 TRUMPH!This car was represented to me by the long time British Service facility as a very strong, solid driving TR3 that had been cared for by its 25 year owner with service tickets to support the claim. The car is everything that was represented. When one has an exceptional old classic that has been cared for and is tight they drive with a certain audible whine from everything working tight and correct, this car has that sound.I cannot detect any rust or rust history on the car, viewing the undercarriage, everything is solid and straight(review pictures). The soft top and tonneau were installed two days prior to these pictures the sidecurtains were pulled from their shipping boxes and put on for the first time for the photographs. The paint is good with the patina of age with a touched up chip here and there but obviously pretty, shiney, and nice looking. The car looks in person exactly as the pictures reflect.Note the nice body panel gaps on the car.The gauges are in good condition and all work as designed. The clutch and transmission work perfect, engine does not smoke and starts up immediately. The car is a great car with high integrity and a nice look but clearly not a trailer queen. This example could drive anywhere with confidence.
