1980 Triumph Other convertible Additional Info:

This Triumph TR7 fitted with a Buick V6 cold be someone's unique classic British motorcar with a sleeper powertrain of Detroit muscle.I have a medical and employment crisis and I must get rid of this car. The car is lacking exhaust, windshield, fuel lines, and a few other items.

Listed VIN is the vehicle body fully stripped and restored; I have the second title from the donor vehicle from which the operational drivetrain was removed (I drove it once and the power was scary). The leather seat covers have not been replaced but all the other items of interior down to the screw is replaced or painfully restored. The dash panel lens is flawless.

Body was completely stripped, floor pans replaced, full undercoating, professional paint job (with one error - the lower front wing panels did not get the black). Pictures were taken with the bonnet removed; I have the front bumper not yet installed.

The Buick 4.1 V6 was (although in excellent condition) rebuilt and fitted with Weiand squarebore intake with Holley390CFM on top; this engine has the 3.8 turbo cam and oversize shaft bearings, hi-performance oil pump; overbore 0.060 hi-performance pistons. I used the John's Conversion TR7 V6 conversion kit and headers. The engine picture shows a filer unit that was not used and was replaced with triangle filter unit in the installed pic (same as used on TR8). TR8 subframe spacers installed and uprated springs installed, polyurethane suspension bushings except for select points. B&M shifter installed for the THM200-R4 automatic overdrive transmission. Koni strut inserts.

I kept the parts that were not used from the strip-down of the two vehicles and they will go with the car.

Buyer would have to make the arrangements for flatbed pickup. Parts lists including detail order sheets with the part numbers, and a full rebuild report available and I have a full photo of the teardown rework and reassembly of the car.

This is a charity as I will never get the price of what I spent (not even a third of it), but that is the way of project cars that don't get finished.

I am also in a serious personal crisis. If you are interested in my personal crisis you can find me on Twitter as @urbanfatbiker.

I would be pleased if you read my story

'Scarlet Letter and a Surrender Flag'

After you read the story,

come back and make an offer on this car!!!!
