1974 Triumph TR-6 Additional Info:

This gorgeous Carmine Red 1974 Triumph TR6 is a California car and had a full frame off restoration in 2014 and has been driven with great caresince. You won’t be able to drive this head-turning car anywhere without someone commenting on her looks. Body has no rust, scratches or dents and the paint shines like new. The car is mechanically solid and the engine runs strong with excellent compression numbers in all six cylinders. Clutch and transmission are smooth and the factory overdrive provides a “fifth gear” for great gas mileage on the highway. The Monza dual exhaust system purrs very nicely. As this vehicle is actually a 1974½.

I have owned the car for about six months, but a cross-country move to a house without a garage is forcing me to sell this beauty!

I have created a short video of a cold engine start, view it here: https://youtu.be/T8lBCI6UHsA

The Michelin redline tires have less than 5000 miles on them and have provided good traction on the winding California mountain roads near San Francisco. The convertible top looks like new and the rear window is crystal clear and has working zippers that allow it to be opened.

The car has a fewmodern conveniences like a center console which provides a nice armrest and storage and also has two 12V outlets for charging phones, etc. as wellas an LED dome light (works on door opening) as well as a high rear brake light to the rollbar. Also comes with aLexan windblocker (not shown in the photos) which easily attaches/detaches to the rollbar.

There’s also a new Pioneer CD AM-FM with MP3 playback, and a mini jack for phone or ipod playback. Front and rear speakers can be controlled through the CD player.

You can find plenty of TR6s online that will probably just as nice as this one but many of the prices shownare double what you'll likely pay for this beauty. I have receipts for much of the work that I had done but do not have any info on the full frame restoration done by a previous owner. Don't lose out on this one--bid early and bid often. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
