I am selling my 1960 Triumph TR-3 Roadster as I am moving to a new hobby. I have ordered a new 35' motor home and plan to travel our country for the next ???? years. My hobby of collector cars will not fit in this lifestyle so the sale begins. I sold one yesterday and this is #2.
I purchased this car from the 2nd owner many years ago and originally planned to drive it as is. However, after a short time I decided that this car was too nice not to preserve, so I completed a total frame off. I replaced the carpet and the rear seat as well as all the soft parts described. Other than that, the interior is original. This will support the documented mileage for any observer. The pictures tell the story better than words, but I will answer any questions. The engine remains original. Things like clutch, TO brg and pressure plate were replaced. Total brake job, seals, body mounts, grommets, fuel system overhaul and too many other thingsto cover here, but I have a complete log of the restoration for the new owner.
This is a great running and driving car. It goes down the road a highway speeds nicely with the very affective overdrive transmission. This is the " most fun" English sports car I have owned. It is very spirited and sounds super with the stainless steel exhaust.
