For sale is a really nice Triumph Spitfire 1500. It runs and looks fantastic. This car has been very well cared for over the past 40 years. The previous owner passed away and it sat for 3 years in the families garage in Seattle. I purchased it from their estate sale and had it shipped to Boise.
I just had the clutch replaced by Loma's and new carpet installed, seats reupholstered, new battery and alternator, new tires, as well as a tune up and fluids changed.
I have receipts for over $13000 in the past 12 years including complete paint, engine and transmission professional rebuilt, complete exhaust, Weber carburetor conversion, shocks, brakes, etc.
Interior is really nice.....New seat upholstery since I took these pics. Gauges are all very nice. Door panels are excellent.
The red carpet is top of the line and beautiful.
The chrome bumpers are in great shape. The previous owner had the rear rubber bumperettes removed but I have the parts in a box.
Just installed a gas strut kit for the bonnet, this is a really nice upgrade!
The top is in nice shape except the small rectangular window has a 1" separation from the top, I believe due to improper storage in the down position. I need to research if it can be repaired.
The body and paint is in very nice condition although I just noticed while polishing that there are two small areas starting to bubble under the paint on the drivers quarter panel along the lip of the wheel well. I took close up pics.
Includes boot, tonneau cover and car cover. It also includes a nice roll bar that was installed but removed when the carpet was replaced. I personally like the appearance better without the roll bar.
Spitfires are one of the last classic British sports cars that are affordable to the average person but the prices are starting to go up rapidly.
I try to be as honest and accurate as possible with my description. I have additional photos so send me an email with questions or for more pics.
I am very flexible and happy to work with transportation companies.
This is a "No Reserve" auction so good luck bidding.
