Selling my 1994 Toyota 4x4 single cab pickup with 22RE 4 cylinder with 5-speed manual transmission.Lifelong Washington truck with
ZERO rust. I purchased this truck in February of 2015 from Jackie M.,the original owner of the truck. I made a copy of her original title
showing the 12/1994 registration dateand mileage of 000028. The two-owner status can also be verified via the Autocheck report.
The engine in the truck was blown when I bought it, so I had an ASE mechanic install a remanufactured22RE from Oregon Engine
Rebuilders. I opted to upgrade to an RV cam which gives the truck increasedHP and a slightly lopey idle. OER sells this engine on ebay
with an amazing lifetime unlimited mileagewarranty, so you know they are building good engines. My warranty will not transfer to the next
owner, however. Do a search on ebay item # 201575311289 to get more information on this engine.
While the engine was out, I also had my mechanic install a new clutch and pressure plate. We also installednew shocks all around, and
a new steering stabilizer. I used the truck regularly, but I put less than 10k mileson it in one year. It still runs and drives great. I just opted
to go with a V8 truck in order to be able to tow a large trailer.
The truck has 166924 miles on the body and chassis, and still wears its original black paint. The paint has somedings, scratches, and
nicks from normal wear and tear, but still has a great shine to it and no peeling or fadingof any sort. If you view the youtube video you
can see the dings, which are mostly concentrated near the top edgeof the bed along the sides. For whatever reason, the driver’s side
hinge stop (the part in the door jamb betweenthe hinges which limits how far the door will open) is missing.
The interior is in excellent overall condition, with only some minor splitting on the driver’s side edge of the benchseat. The truck has
factory instrumentation including tach and gauges. Amazingly, it still has the original Toyotafactory AM/FM digital stereo, so nothing
has ever been hacked up in the dash area. I did add a factory Toyotadigital clock from an SR5 pickup in the stock location for it. Heater,
lights, and wipers are all in working condition.
The truck has power steering and brakes, and manual locking hubs for the 4 wheel drive that are all in good working condition. I added
factory Toyota SR5 alloy wheels to dress the truck up just a bit but still retain a factory look. The tires are 31” and have approx. ¼ inch
of tread with even wear. I recently rotated the rears to the front, and I would recommend that they be balanced. I also installed a drop-in
bedliner.
