1984 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 60 Additional Info:

Selling my dream car, a 1984 FJ-60. Unfortunately, I just have not been able to find the time to use it for what it was intended and need to free up some room in the garage. This FJ is in very good condition with just a couple of spots of rust bubbling up on both rear fenders (see pictures). The rest of the paint is in good condition with a few scratches and some oxidation on the roof. The headliner is in great shape with just one small tear on one of the rear-seat pillars. Original carpet and upholstery. The carpet in the cargo area is worn in one corner but the rest of the carpet in the vehicle is good. The back seat upholstery is in good condition with no tears but the original upholstery on the front seats is worn but I have covered them with some top-notch cordura seat covers.
My son and I have had fun working on the FJ since it is the only vehicle we own that we can actually work on. Even though it runs great and will give you many more years & miles of use as is, the beauty of these things is that you can do any projects you want fairly easily.
This FJ is mostly stock but here are a few of the changes and upgrades -
- Procomp 31x10.50R15 LT tires with very good tread
- Warn XD9000i winch mounted on front bumper/bull bar w/ remote control
- Pioneer AM/FM/CD/MP3/USB stereo with Pioneer speakers in front door
- Handyman jack mounted on rear bumper
- Rubber floor mats throughout
- New Rancho shocks and steering stabilizer
- Just replaced tie rod ends and got alignment - has just a little play in steering wheel but not much for this vintage
- Just passed Colorado emissions test - has new cat, muffler and exhaust from the cat to the rear
- Have done a lot of other repairs - new battery, new thermostat, recent tune up
- Everything works - AC/heater, 4x4, etc.
- Have a few spare parts that will go with it - original mirrors (currently equipped with some after market mirrors), new rheostat for dash lights, and anything else I might have in the garage
- Also includes a cover in case you have to store it outside
- Has the original tool kit which is missing from many of these vehicles
