1972 Toyota Carina 2dr Sedan with 80K original miles. This is a one owner car that has been garaged since new. It has the original manifest from Frank Kenney Toyota in Seattle from October of 1972 when it was purchased. Very nice, original condition for a 54 year old car. Original engine, transmission, paint, and I believe even the glass. Runs good, idles nice, does not drip any fluids!
It has some minor damage to the left front fender, some bondo on the right front fender, and a small crease on the passenger door. Otherwise the body is in great shape. Very little rust to speak of just some minor surface rust here and there. It has Bridgestone radial tires with the original hubcaps and the white walls turned in. The interior is all original. The carpets will need a cleaning or possibly replacement. The bucket seats have original upholstery, and the usual tears in the wear areas as seen in the photos. They are in fair shape but probably could should be re-upholstered. The headliner is in great shape, no tears or rips. The dash is very nice, no sun damage that I can see. The am radio still works great. All the lights work as they should, Turn signals, brake lights, headlights (4), backup lights, dome light, and side marker lights. I have never worked on a car where all the lights worked without some burned out bulbs or corrosion!
All of the following has been repaired or replaced: Original front brake calipers rebuilt and powder coated, new pads, new rear wheel cylinders, rear brake pads checked, brake fluid flushed, new battery, Transmission Drain and fill, Differential Drain and fill, new Pittman arm, new air filter, new Temp sending unit, and a new Thermostat.
It will come with the original tool kit, jack, and some extra parts. I will also include the Chilton's manual, Original owners manual, Original manifest, Warranty sticker, and all the service records. I am selling this for my elderly neighbor who asked me to help her sell it. She has a current, clean title for transfer. As a side note this was entered in the local Greenwood car show here in Seattle and won for best Original, unrestored vehicle in show. I have the plaque that I won.
