1987 Toyota Supra Additional Info:

Excellent example of a low mileage classic car at a reasonable price!
1987 Toyota MK3 Supra Turbo 5-speed that is still primarily OEM original. 7MGTE engine and R154 transmission.
Car has had the following done to it: premium high quality ceramic window tint that was professionally installed, keyless entry/alarm that was also professionally installed, upgraded stainless steel braided brake lines (front only, rears not yet installed but will go with car) and a fluid flush and change, new OEM clutch and slave cylinders as well as new fluid, fresh AMSOIL 10-W30 full synthetic oil changed less than a thousand miles ago, fresh transmission and rear diff fluid about 3,000 miles ago. All drive belts were changed out just prior to me buying the car about a year ago. Tires still have plenty of tread left on them and are in good shape and I just replaced all the wiper blades and added a K&N drop in filter.
The Bad. The car is being listed on here instead of BAT due to the following and the price for the car has been reduced to accommodate these issues:
Car was sitting in storage for some years before the previous owner bought it from the original. He drove it for a bit then also parked it in storage and only got it out during nice summer weather. This caused surface rust to form underneath the car. This rust will need to be dry ice blasted off. I was quoted $800 to $1,200 to have this done. NOTHING has rusted through. Frame and body are still in good shape, but this needs to be addressed.
Rear output transmission seal and either the front seal or rear main seal of the engine has leaks. I was quoted around $1,200 by the local Toyota dealership to do this, parts and labor.
The factory radio works and the antenna goes up and down, however the factory speakers are original and at least one of the back speakers is blown and makes an awful sound when too much base is applied.
From what I can tell, the timing belt is still the original. It is not giving any issues but should be replaced, along with the water pump.
The car does NOT use any oil despite the leaks and does not smoke, even after idling for a time, so all the piston rings, turbo seals and valve seals are still in good shape.
The 2nd owner said the 1st owner had the head gasket issue these are known to have addressed when he owned the car, but I have no proof of that.
A few scratches on the hood and driver's headlight cover (see photos) as well as some scuffs on the driver's side trim (I have a brand new still in the box OEM trim piece to replace the scuffed one).
The Good.
Did I mention is has not been modified! It runs great, drives well (TEMS works fine) and boosts as it should (to my knowledge it has never been boosted past stock settings). Everything works, cruise, A/C, TEMS, etc.
With some TLC this car could easily be transformed into a low mileage museum piece.
I will also be selling some parts with the car that are getting rare and hard to find. Factory OEM service manual for the 87 turbo, extra window switches, extra door handles, and a few other things. Also, I have a brand new, still in the box one piece aluminum driveshaft that has not yet been installed as well as a A-Pillar 2 gauge pod that matches the factory interior color. Also, a full set of HART slotted rotors still in the boxes as well.
This is my favorite color combination of MK3 Supra. The ONLY reason I am selling it is because I want a 91-92 with a factory moon roof. I bought this car with the intention of having one installed. But I cannot bring myself to have a shop cut into such a pristine and low mileage car.
Somewhere out there, this car is exactly what someone is looking for. A nice, clean example that needs some TLC but isn't priced $20K or above.
The car is also being listed locally, and I do use it as an off-daily driver, so the mileage will go up. Currently it is being stored in an empty garage when not being driven as one of pictures shows.
