1967 Toyota Land Cruiser Additional Info:

This 1967 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is a non-running project that I acquired in 2017 following a reported period of long-term storage and subsequently underwent a refurbishment. The replacement 3.9-liter inline-six was serviced in 2022, though it has not been started since and does not run. The body was refinished in beige, and the split front bench seat was re-trimmed in tan vinyl. Shifting is through a three-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, a Weber carburetor, black 16″ wheels, locking front hubs, Pro Comp shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, a removable hardtop, and a roll bar. This FJ40 project is offered with an owner’s manual, a folder of service records, spare parts
The truck was refinished in beige following bodywork under current ownership, and prior accident damage was repaired at that time, which is said to have included replacing the left fender and repairing dents on the rear tub and right fender. It features a removable hardtop with a white roof along with side mirrors, a windshield washer pump and sprayer, reverse lights, rear bumperettes, and a rear-mounted spare tire. Nicks and scratches are noted along the body.
Black 16″ wheels are said to have been sourced from a Tacoma and are mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. A lug nut is missing from both front wheels. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs and rides on Pro Comp shocks. Four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes have also been installed.
The split front bench seat was re-trimmed in tan vinyl, a roll bar was installed, and a textured finish was applied to the floors during the refurbishment.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames white-dial instrumentation including a 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 77k miles and total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 3.9-liter F inline-six was installed under previous ownership, and it is said to have been fitted with a Weber carburetor, an electric fuel pump, and electronic ignition. The engine is linked with a three-speed manual transmission, and a dual-range transfer case is also equipped. The engine was overhauled in 2022, though it has not been started since, does not run, and requires further servicing. A spare engine block and cylinder head are included in the sale.
