The 70 series was the successor to the original indestructible 40 series Land Cruiser and has come to be regarded as THE iconic Land Cruiser to have and last for lifetimes in the rest of the world. This is a vintage 1989 BJ74 70 series Toyota LandCruiser with removable FRP (Fiber reinforced plastic, or fiberglass) Top in collector's condition with only around 8,800 (increases slightly from occasional drives to keep it lubed and fresh) original and JEVIC verified KILOMETERS. That converts to just under 5,500 miles. It has Toyota's venerable and indestructible 13B-T 3.4 liter turbo Diesel inline 4 cylinder direct injected engine with timing gear driven mechanical injection pump and camshaft. This was a one-owner vehicle in Japan that was passed down within the family when the original owner passed away. It comes with original license plates from Japan, original floor mats in excellent condition, original owners manual with service records, original seat covers that have protected the original seat upholstery which appears new. The interior on this rig is in unbelievable condition and it still smells new inside. It also came with optional rare power take off (PTO) driven winch. It is in overall like new condition with a few minor blemishes here and there. The under carriage looks almost new and there is no siginficant rust.
