I have finally decided to part with my 1984 Toyota Xtra Cab 4x4. I have owned the truck for the past 16 years and have added countless modifications and man hours into it. The only reason I am selling is because my family has grown, and we now need a more seats for my family. I bought a 4 door tacoma to fit my family's needs and now am departing with my pride and joy as I move onto the next truck. With that being said, this truck is a DAILY DRIVER. Not only is it a daily driver, but it is a very capable off road machine. It is in very good condition, but not perfect, please keep in mind it is 41 years old. The stock engine was replaced with a 1995 4.3 chevy t.b.i and currently has approximately 150k miles. It runs good and is completely stock. It has had a recent tune up, advant adapter, headers and true dual exhaust. The transmission is a 700R4 that's recently been rebuilt with approximately 25k miles on it. It has advant adapters, output shaft and tail housing built for Toyota Transfer Case. Transmission is well built with some upgrades, winters shifter. Trail-gear creeper transfer case with 4.7 low range. 25k miles approx on transfer case. Both drive shafts are Tom Woods, and the front is a H.D. long travel shaft. Rear axle is I.F.S. width, with 5.29 gears and a Toyota E- locking differential. It has a disc brake conversion using Toyota front rotors and calipers. Front axle has I.F.S. hubs so its the same width as the rear. 5.29 gears with Toyota E-locking differential. It has RCV axle shafts. It's trusted and guesseted. Front brakes use slip on style rotors from a tacoma and bigger caliper and pads. The steering is a Marlin crawler high steer with 5th stud. I.F.S. steering gear. PSC high pressure pump and cooler. Front leaf springs are 2 inch lift. Old man EMU rear springs. Rear leafs are chevy 63 inch. Tires are like new 37x12.5x17 BFG KM3. Wheels are icon pro with bead lock alternative. Wheels and tires have less than 10k miles. Few small rust spots were repaired 10-12 years ago and have not came back after paint job. The truck has had fluid film applied since paint every years, sometimes even twice a year. This has been my daily driver and hobby for 16 years. No tire kicks. No nonsense. These trucks are becoming harder and harder to come by. If you have questions please reach out through ebay and I will do my best to help. Thanks for looking.
