Running Condition

The running condition of this GTS is excellent. The motor fires right up with no hesitation. This Celica GTS just purrs very smoothly at idle. The transmission shifts through all gears just like it should. All of the suspension is nice and tight. The car does not overheat, does not smoke or make any funny noise. The drivetrain does not leak or burn any oil thanks to the previous owner always servicing the Toyota accordingly.

Paint & Body

This car has been garage kept all its life. The body is in excellent condition, & still has all of its original body panels. There is no rust anywhere on this car. There are 3 small door dings on the passenger side and passenger side rocker, nothing a mobile paintless dent remover can't massage out. You can refer to the pictures of this time capsule and can confirm the Body is nice without any dents or abnormal body lines from 40+ years. The car has its original paint on all panels. The door jambs look exceptional. The paint shines well and looks amazing. This Toyota can be a very nice daily driver or a good conversation piece in a collection.

Interior

The interior is in excellent condition, no one has ever sat in the backseat. This interior is impeccable, still smells new. The dash has no cracks, door panels are nice and solid, and both the carpet and convertible top are in excellent shape. All the lights and all the gauges work. The Power top works just as it would leaving the showroom. The AC blows ice cold. The seats are so plush it’s as if you will be driving away from the dealership in 1985.

Glass & Trim

All of the glass is original, still in excellent condition with no cracks. All the rubber seals are not dry and are without major weathering. The power top works excellent.

Undercarriage & Trunk

The undercarriage is in excellent condition— no rust anywhere, no patchwork or repair work that has been done on the underside or trunk compartment of this car. The trunk compartment is rust free. This is a very solid and rust free car.

Wheels & Tires

The wheels are in excellent shape. The tires are good but, recommend to change the tires before summer for daily driving comfort & safety.
