1985 Toyota 4Runner RN60 Additional Info:

Classic 1985 first-generation Toyota 4Runner with solid front axle and REBUILT 22RE 2.4 Stage 3 Engine by the famed Yota1 in Riverbank, CA.Rebuilt Engine Specs: https://209yota1.com/products/22re-2-4l-rebuilt-stage-3-toyota-engine/THE GOOD- Extremely low miles 134,000 on the vehicle, little over 6k on the rebuilt engine- The Yota1 engine is a BEAST!!! See video (https://youtube.com/shorts/TqQouC7b_vc?feature=share). The torque in 4WD low is astonishingly powerful, perfect for steep trails such as the kind you find in Moab- LOTS of original parts were replaced during the rebuild process (See pic of paperwork). This truck has MANY years of life ahead.- 1980s vintage heritage Ivan Stewart vinyl decals.- 3" lift kit.- 33" Goodyear BFG tires- Front and rear brake jobs and alignment completed in 2023- New slave, flywheel, pressure plate all @ 103,000 miles.- Topper has NEVER been removed.- Rear power window still works great.- Passed emissions March 2023.- Original paperwork and owner's manual are still in great condition.- Huge lightbar on the front bumper with interior switch. (I didn't install it. The guy before me put a round switch in a square hole which always drove me crazy. I never got around to making it better. Sorry)THE BAD- Front seats have heavy wear and tear. The back seats are still in great condition.- There is rust on the body and a little in the undercarriage.- Speedometer does read 15 under what your actual speed is.- Horn doesn't work.- Shocks have small seeping but nothing major.- Steering wheel does not align completely, but the alignment on the vehicle itself is correct- The previous owner broke the cruise control switch. I have it but never fixed it. Cruise control is boring anyway.- Nonautomatic locking hubs, which means you have to lock them yourself before entering 4x4.LISTEN! I know what I got. This is a classic and is extremely popular in the Toyota community. I get asked if I'm selling this at least 2-3 times a month. Up until this week, the answer was no. So don't come kicking the tires telling me I got a rust bucket looking for a steal. I know what I got.
