Vehicle Details
Built in late 1989 and sold as one of the last 1990 models before the FJ80 was introduced, this Land Cruiser ["Nancy"] has been well taken care of since my ownership. The tires have about 12,000 miles on them. The tint was installed in the Fall of 2020. The exterior paint is covered in bed liner. Off-road steel bumpers front and rear. 9500lb Smittybilt winch (never used). New battery and cables. New muffler. New radiator. New starter. All exterior lights and both dome interior lights have been converted to LED. The list goes on. Everything works except the A/C and the engine (which is original but threw a rod)...so no, it doesn't run. AAMCO completely rebuilt the transmission and the transfer case about 2000 miles before the engine broke. Sourcing remanufactured parts for the original A440F transmission was extremely difficult. Obviously, whomever owned "Nancy" before me must not have taken care of the engine...but she did survive Hurricane Katrina even though she had some flood damage. I was going to do a GM LS/Vortec conversion but I don't have the time, the money or the patience to tackle that job at this time. I really hate to be listing her on any website, but those who know what they are looking at will definitely appreciate it for what it is. Also, I did attempt to fix a dent with Bondo that is now not looking amazing…it’s in one of the last photos. Additional photos available upon request to any serious lookers. Email me with any additional questions. Also listed on ih8mud forum and Craigslist Memphis. Happy bidding and good luck!
