This 1990 Toyota LiteAce GXL is a right-hand-drive 4×4 that was imported from Japan in 2017. The van is powered by a turbodiesel 2.0-liter inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.

Manually locking front hubs are fitted in addition to a front torsion bar lift, and rear spring spacers. Silver-finished 14″ steel wheels are mounted with 27×8.50″ General Grabber A/TX tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.

A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and fuel level and coolant temperature displays. The six-digit odometer shows 121k kilometers (~75k miles).

The right-hand-drive cabin features front bucket seats and two rear benches (middle spins to face sideways or backwards, back bench folds up on sides) trimmed in gray cloth with vinyl accents. Features include power windows, a center console, a rear heater, and a Boss CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity linked to Boss and Pioneer speakers.

Work since importing includes replacing the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, air and fuel filters, belts and pulleys, coolant and heater hoses, the fan clutch, and the clutch master cylinder. The fuel distributor was rebuilt in 2022.

There is minor rust on the underside at the front as well as on the spare tire mount under the van which is also bent. There are some dings around the body along with a dent at the rear and scuffs on the rear bumper. There is some upholstery damage to the driver’s seat and the rear bench seat (pictures included).
