Up for sale is a very nice example of a 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 ..the first year of the automatic transmission and fuel injected engine offered on the Land Cruiser.. this is a solid truck thats ready to drive.. its definitely a head turner and gets thumbs up at every corner.. prices are only going up on any Land Cruiser. especially for the FJ62 that was made for 3 years only.. its hard to find a clean example for a reasonable price.. use it as a daily driver or a weekender.. its money in the bank when owning a Land Cruiser..

The exterior is in overall very nice shape.. The paint is very presentable and looks good.. it does have its wear and tear and parking dings and dents and its minor imperfections..its not mint .. its very nice .. all lights work in order. turn signals and brake lights work fine. . the underbelly is in good shape. has been undercoated many years ago and theres no rust.. all glasses are in good shape.. chrome wheels shine up nicel, tires have about 40% life remaining.. spare tire is intact.. its all there.. and its very stock.. no modification, no lifts and never been off road. you can build it your way .. or leave it as is..
The interior is very nice for its age. carpet shows wear and tear.. door panels and headliner in good shape.. seats are factory and look great.. manual door locks and manual windows all work .. front and rear heater work fine. has Ice cold AC.. all electronics work in order.. all gauges work fine.. instrument panel lights up fine and there are no check engine lights . dash has one crack and the center column storage lid is cracked..non smoker owner . no pets ... no kids.. still bears its original and rare oem radio and cassette player.. the power antenna is broken.. all seat belts work fine. interior still smells new.. overall its very stock and clean with minor wear and tear..
Mechanically in good shape. 191k miles is considered low for a Land Cruiser .. the good thing about the 1988 models is it came with the Fuel injected 3F engine which is just bulletproof and starts every time..they run much cleaner and more reliable than the carbureted models.. tune up has been completed.. all belts and hoses have been gone thru including radiator and all cooling syste, oil pan gasket and seals have been replaced.. front and rear diffs have been serviced .. transfer case was serviced.. The automatic transmission shifts fine through all gears and has good power.. runs fine at all speeds.. no overheating.. no smokes.. its a very reliable rig that will last a long time if maintained.. brakes are fine and stop well with no pulling or shaking.. parking brake works fine.. drive it anywhere you want.. 4x4 works fin, has front manual locking hubs ... 4x4 has never been used here in California ..
