1988 Toyota MR2 Additional Info:

Sad to part with my '88 MR2 (Mk 1b) ... I'm selling it because I live in the city...
Pros:Original 4A-GE runs great. Goes to the redline with no problem and still makes power.No 5th gear pop-out.Clutch still strong.New rear tires, donut in good condition.New-ish battery and plugs.Custom paint job!Still have original steering wheel.

Cons:Custom paint job...Needs an exhaust and an O2 sensor (C.E. Light on because of it.)Dash lights do not work.T-tops leak (as expected)Typical distributor oil leak.Passenger power window works once or twice a year.Radio works, but the speakers are crap.Coil-overs are quite stiff.Probably needs an alignment.
I absolutely adore this car (my second AW11) and would keep it if I hade the garage space to keep up with the maintenance. Due for a tune-up and general check, but living in New York City I just have nowhere to do it. I bought it 3 years ago and it was my daily driver. I've made a few 1000-mile road trips with it and it ever gave me trouble.
