The vehicle for sale is a 1985 Toyota Pickup 4x4 with VIN JT4RN66S0F5051935
The odometer reads 120,851 which is inaccurate, the last carfax showed 180k+. I’m told the previous owner pulled the motor from another 1985 many years ago and with it transferred the cluster. The truck has a clean title in my name.
This truck was to be a life keeper and it shows by my list of upgrades and maintenance below. I chose to keep the original paint and decals instead of painting the truck. Things don’t always go as planned so here we are. The truck has spent all of its life in California and has undergone a small restoration over the last year to its current state which includes the following within the last 4k miles. The heat works great and the AC is original to the truck and blows surprisingly cold. The truck runs and drives amazing overall. Cruise Control works. The radio does not work.
I was chasing a shimmy after 1st gear engagement and went the wrong way about fixing the issue by throwing new parts at it to fix it.
