This 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is said to have spent time in South America and was refurbished prior to being imported to the US under previous ownership. The truck was subsequently acquired by the seller in 2033. Power is provided by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment included with sale are New American Racing 17" Blacked out wheels wrapped in LT285/70R17 Nitto tires. AVM manually locking front hubs, a rear-mounted spare wheel and tire, air conditioning, a Sanyo cassette stereo, rear jump seats, and a replacement black soft top with roll-up panels. This FJ40 is now offered by the seller in California with a clean California title.
The body was refinished in its current shade of blue during the aforementioned refurbishment and features a replacement black soft top with roll-up rear and side panels. Additional equipment includes front tow hooks, side mirrors, and silver-finished bumpers with black rubber stoppers.
All four wheels are age appropriate along with the spare. All wheels are wearing a Goodyear Wrangler AT tires included one mounted out back (Tires near new condition). The truck is equipped with AVM manually locking front hubs, and braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and inward-facing rear jump seats upholstered in black vinyl. Equipment includes air conditioning, a Sanyo cassette stereo, and front lap belts.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 160-km/h speedometer as well as auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 28k kilometers (~17k miles).
The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with a downdraft carburetor and sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
