1994 Toyota 4Runner Additional Info:

Due to closures at the state level, I am currently out of tags and am unable to issue tags for the foreseeable future. If you have questions about tag and title services, transporting your vehicle, or shipping, please message me BEFORE bidding. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very hard to find 1994 Toyota 4Runner SR-5. I would rate the exterior of this 4Runner to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in black over tan interior. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find more than a few marks here and there to disclose as you walk around the exterior of this 4Runner. I did notice that the tail gate is a different color (it's dark blue) and the rear bumper is missing. Naturally, my first assumption was that rust got the best of them. However, nothing else on the exterior of this truck supports that theory. Upon close inspection, I noticed that the floor of the cargo area does not align properly with the tail gate. My current theory is that something hit the rear of the truck and damaged the bumper and tail gate. That would explain what I see. Of course, I cannot prove it as I have no records. That's just my best guess. The body is in remarkable condition for its age and mileage. The underside also looks remarkably clean. The original alloy wheels have been upgraded with a set of period correct alloys that are wrapped in a matching set of 31x10.50 Pirelli Scorpions with nice tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this old 4Runner came in. I would rate the interior of this 4Runner to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner show well, for their age, too. The carpets are clean and full looking, throughout the interior. The power windows, locks, and mirrors all work properly. The audio system sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air anymore. The cargo area is spacious and clean. In fact, the entire interior is quite clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this well loved 4Runner came in. Mechanically, this 4Runner appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. Her road manners are good, for an older truck, but the front end could use tightened up. At speeds approaching highway speeds, and under braking load, there is a shaking in the front end that should be dealt with sooner rather than later. Nothing feels horribly broken, but I'd definitely want to address it. The steering, itself, feels good and responsive. The truck also stops quickly and safety. Again, I'd say just worn bushings up front. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. These things are no hot rod, but the V6 does make the power it should make and feels smooth. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The 4WD system is tested and is working properly. If you like these old 4Runner's, you know how hard it is to find one that isn't swiss cheese by now. Straighten up the front end, buy a new rear bumper, and you're in business with one of the most rust-free 4Runners I've seen in a while. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
