I am selling an **ALL ORIGINAL** 1989 Toyota 4Runner Deluxe 4x4 5 speed manual. It’s very hard to come across a manual 4Runner making this vehicle harder and harder to find. It literally drives like a new, no exaggeration. It’s the smoothest shiftiing transmission I’ve ever driven. It’s also an extremely comfortable ride on any road you take it on. It has plenty of power. You’d swear the engine was rebuilt but the previous owner never said anything to me about it. The tires are very close to being new and have no dry rot anywhere. It has the 80s American racing aluminum rims which are very lightweight and look very nice in my opinion. All the lights and signals work as they should. Blinkers, high beams, low beams, reverse lights are all good. 4wd high and low work amazing with no problem, manual hubs lock and unlock without issue and are very smooth. The back window goes up and down as it should no problem. The rear windshield wiper as well as the washer fluid both work. Even the license plate display lights work. It has an upgraded radio as well as sound system installed which sounds really good. The interior is actually very nice besides the driver seat as seen in the photos. The engine is very clean, no oil splatter or grease anywhere. It has a fresh oil change and K&N oil filter. It also has had brand new brake pads, calipers and rotors put in in the last 5k miles, it stops on a dime. Now for the best part, the frame is almost perfect. You will not find a single crack or rust hole or even surface rust on or in it anywhere, most of it is still the factory black coating. All the brake and fuel lines are prestine. The heat blows extremely hot. It is honestly like I said is one of the most smooth shifting transmissions I’ve ever driven. The clutch is extremely strong. If you don’t believe me come drive it. It has a brand new valve cover gasket and bolts as well as new front wipers. You could put cardboard under it and not see a single drop. It leaks no fluids nor does it burn any oil/coolant. I’ve also been averaging about 22mpg, highway and back roads. This is an amazing time capsule and is a blast to own and drive. I get compliments everywhere I go and have seen very few stick 4runners, especially with this body style. If you know a lot about these they are skyrocketing in value, that’s why I hate to get rid of this thing but where I’m stationed we can’t have personal vehicles and I don’t want it sitting in my garage at home collecting dust.
