1986 Toyota Land Cruiser -- Additional Info:
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this highly original 1986 Toyota FJ-60 Land Cruiser for your consideration. This Land Cruiser is powered by Toyota's legendary 4.2 liter 2F inline 6-cylinder engine, which is paired 4-speed manual transmission, and Toyota's proven four-wheel-drive system. This engine and transmission combination is said to be one of the best pairings in the automotive world. Power is sent to all four wheels through a two-speed transfer case. The Land Cruiser is one of Toyota's longest-running models and is often known for its off-road capability, and bulletproof drivetrains. The Land Cruiser makes for an awesome daily driver or capable off-road rig.
This Land Cruiser was repainted in a crisp Silver three years ago. Silver just looks right on a classic Land Cruiser with its boxy and rugged design. The 15-inch wheels are wrapped in Kumho Road Venture tires, thus making a comfortable and capable ride both on and off-road. Two front tow hooks, a steel skid plate, and the original steel bumpers make this Land Cruiser look awesome. Even the underside is exceptionally clean as shown in the pictures.
The interior is great as well. The two-tone seats, carpet, door panels, and even headliner are all impressively clean. A high-quality aftermarket audio system was installed, but that is the only non-original piece. This Land Cruiser has been well cared for and it shows both internally and externally.
Not only does it look nice but it also drives amazing. This Land Cruiser goes down the road straight as an arrow and looks awesome doing so. This Land Cruiser is equipped with power steering and power brakes. Factory options include air conditioning which blows cold. This example is a southern truck as it comes out of Kentucky. Overall this Land Cruiser is a dream to drive.
The Land Cruiser is Toyota's longest-running series. It began in 1951 and is still made to this day. It has been produced in convertible, hardtop, station wagon and utility truck versions. It is known worldwide for its reliability and longevity. The FJ-60 was produced from 1980 through 1989 for most worldwide markets. It retained the rugged off-road characteristics of previous Cruisers but was designed to better compete in the emerging sport utility market making it a little more refined for urban driving. Values on these Toyota Land Cruisers continue to climb and demand comes from all over the globe. Please call or email today with any questions or for additional information.
