1976 Toyota FJ 40 -- Additional Info:
Toyota wanted to compete with the Jeep so it literally reverse engineered the Jeep from the 50's to develop their own off road vehicle that could handle the tight trails and rough terrain of the Japanese two tracks. The FJ became so properly that the USA was ordering them during the Korean War to move troops and supplies around the jungle and undeveloped country. With each year they made them more dependable and stronger.
We are thrilled to offer this stunning nut/bolt full frame off restoration for your next purchase. This FJ40 is in remarkable condition and the previous owner spent over 3yrs and countless hours to get to the final stage of this masterpiece. No dollar was spared in this custom beauty and the attention to detail is very evident when viewing the pictures or enjoying in person. The vehicle was treated to a full restoration with each panel, nut, screw, trim piece and mechanical aspect gone thru and either replaced, restored or enhanced from its original state.
Vehicle was brought out of the Washington state about 6 years ago and enjoyed by a rancher in Arkansas up till 2015. The previous owner then purchased from him and spent the next 3+yrs restoring it himself with extreme attention to detail and bringing it back even nicer then when it was sold new. Mechanically the truck drives and handles as good as it looks with all gauges working properly. All the lights are functioning with turn signals and interior lights. The wipers, horn, AM stereo, cigarette lighter and warning lights are function as well. The heater turns on quickly and even has the operational rear heater for the passengers in the back jump seats.
Once you start to inspect the fit and finish is where this vehicle really earns its value. Door seals, seats, rubber mats, sound deadening, headliner, weather seals, hardware, trim pieces, badging and anything else you can imagine was done properly. Vehicle has the Warn locking hubs along with Old Man Emu suspension components along with steering stabilizer. Bran new set of BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires are mounted on the custom 15in painted wheels. Vehicle also comes with factory tool kit roll, owner's manual, jack setup and ready for open roads.
These high quality restorations are extremely expensive to replicate and the true winner of these builds are usually the second owner. Take advantage of someone else's hard work and buy a very high quality build that will retain its value and rise over the next several years.
