1988 Toyota Celica GT-4 Additional Info:
SERIOUS OFFERS CONSIDERED...
I have for sale a NON RUNNING 1988 Toyota Celica GT-Four Turbo All-Trac, AWD. This car DOES NOT RUN AS IS...has low compression on #2 cylinder, all others are 190+ psi. These cars were built in limited numbers by Toyota so they could compete in the World Rally Championship series. 1988 was the first year they were imported to the U.S. under the All-Trac name.
This has sat for 10+ years. The car is all original, unmolested. Stock 2.0 liter Turbo 3S-GTE engine, 5 speed manual transmission, All Wheel Drive.
All the electrics seem to work with the exception of the sunroof, it will not open and close by the switch. I needed to jump across the motor itself to get it to open and close. The headliner is GONE!!! It was this way when I got the car.
When I cleaned the car out I found a new timing belt, idler, full head gasket set and a single new exhaust valve. I’m inclined to think it has a burnt or stuck valve on #2 cylinder. Clutch pedal is on the floor, will need a new master or slave cylinder at minimum.
Interior is good but sun faded in places. Good glass, paint is peeling the clear coat, Only body damage is a small dent above passenger front wheel in fender.
This car has NO BODY RUST...the only rust is pin holes in the spare tire well.
Clear Washington title.
Possible delivery for $1.00 per loaded mile.
