1991 Toyota MR2 TURBO Additional Info:
This is my baby. This car is heavily modified so if you're looking for some grandpa's MR2 with 20k miles, this aint it. The engine was completely refreshed 6 months ago by myself. All new toyota gaskets for engine. Also threw in some fun parts and new rod bearings while I was at it.
Engine runs strong with no oil leaks but there is a exhaust leak at the turbo adapter that needs addressed. Its a custom turbo setup so if I were to keep it I'd probably swap it out with a bigger turbo and cleaner setup. Current tune is on gasoline but its setup to run E85 as well.
Transmission shifts smooth and no grinding whatsoever. There is a small tranny fluid leak at the driver side axle seal I have been meaning to fix but haven't. I have the seal in the glove box.
Some holes were drilled in the trunk fire wall to run vacuum lines, wiring, and fuel lines, and also there is some rust in the trunk floor but the body and rockers are solid.
Paint is probably a 6/10 and has same chips and scratches but looks really good for factory 91 paint.Ttops have small leak but not terrible. Also have a front lip that needs installed.
Exhaust needs to be mounted properly as its a bit crooked in pic but isnt going anywhere.
The interior needs some panels put back together as i had to take them off to run wiring etc. Also, needs a shifter surround installed. (like 120 bucks online)
I have a MP3/RADIO for it but havent installed it yet. I can include with vehicle. Also, battery has been relocated behind the seat but want to relocate to factory position for cleaner setup. (easy)
