1987 Toyota Celica GT Additional Info:

I recently picked this up as a summer car, but there are a couple of my boxes it doesn’t check, so before I do any modifying (sound system, paint or wrap, wheels) to this very original CA car, I’ll offer it here.
I much prefer to buy and sell vehicles in person, but I’ll tell you everything I can. If you would like to come to see the vehicle or send a mechanic to Poughkeepsie, NY (12603), I welcome that. Keep in mind I’ve only had the car for a couple weeks and driven it 40-50 miles.
Bad first:-Rear plastic window is faded and now has two small cracks that it developed while opening and closing the top today. Zipper also could use some reattachment.-passenger rear window does not work, assumed the motor, I will update if I fix it-tape deck does not work, radio does, front speakers have issues, power antennae does not retract (shocker)-paint chips on drivers door (picture)-paint imperfections on passenger quarter (possibly buffable). Pictures shows water droplets on top, paint issue below.-engine idles a bit high, 1100-1200. I did get a bit of smoke at startup when I started it yesterday after it was sitting on a decline for 10 days. No smoke today.-Shift boot could stand to be replaced
The good:Original California car until coming to NY three years ago. Documented 89xxx original miles in excellent unmolested original condition. Two owners (one family) before me. Lots of documentation, tools, tonneau cover and car cover (conditions unknown) included.
Hard to find in this shape. Willing to answer questions, take video, additional pictures for SERIOUSLY INTERESTED NON-LOCAL BUYERS AT MY ASKING PRICE, but I’m also cool with keeping it.
Sold as is, where is, with no warranties expressed or implied. I will cooperate with a shipper that the buyer sets up and pays for, but as stated before, I’d prefer to have you see the car in person. It goes without saying that the car, keys and clear NY title don’t leave until all funds are in hand. Thanks!
