1987 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Additional Info:
1987 Toyota 4Runner SR5 First off sorry for all the extra photos. I like to show every part of the truck possible and I now that the 24 eBay allows is not enough. This is my 1987 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with the 22re 5 speed manual transmission. I bought it back in November just as a fun project. I added some photos of what the 4Runner looked like when I bought it.Since then I took it apart and have done a lot of work to it. It was originally a Arizona Truck and was brought to Ashland Oregon a few years back by one of my neighbors. The way you see it now is the way it looked from the factory. It has always been a White 4Runner SR5 22RE truck. It has zero rust, and was in pretty good shape when I got it. Just a little tired. So I pulled the motor, had my mechanic go through the entire motor. He replaced the timing chain, oil pump, gaskets, rod bearings, main bearings, battery, pitman arm,cv axel,ac bully, air intake, spark plug wires, spark plugs, tires, alignment. Im pretty sure I'm forgetting some things but he's a very good guy so at this point he knows what i want and I trust him to just do it. The body was sanded down and all dents where repaired. Then repainted in its original color from the factory. Next I applied the factory Toyota SR5 decals back on. The interior was pretty much left alone just refreshed a little bit. Its not perfect but I think it gives the truck a very original look and is not bad. There is a rip on side of the drivers seat(which I can have my friend make it look better),a separation on the top right of the drivers seat, and two on rear seat behind the driver and one in the headliner. I share a shop with a upholster so if you really want a new interior its possible before shipping, but I honestly like it they it is. I will have him clean up the headliner rip to make it look better and the drivers seat side and talk to him about the rear seat. See if he can just stick it up. I have seen him do it before and it hardly noticeable. All the switches work, the trucks top has never been off and the original tool bag, jack, and roll bar covers are still in the truck along with the owners manual.I have been driving it around since I finished it which was only about 2 weeks ago and it seems to be running really good. No Leaks, has goodpressure, doesn't run hot,4wd works, shifts verysmoothly. I live in Ashland Oregon and these trucks are very popular here. I have had classic convertible,molars,impala's,K5's and so on and nothing has gotten the attention that this 4Runner gets here in Ashland. I do have it for sale locally and will end the auction early if the it sales (unless the reserve has already been met then I will take it off local listing). I don't know about any issues the truck has, wait the AC is not blowing super cold but has no leaks and compressor works. Also the radio is missing but I will install a cd player for the winning bidder after they pay. If you have any questions feel free to call me @503-710-8994

Lots of People have been asking for before photos,so I have included them below. Also a few people have asked me if the 4Runner is ok to drive back to there home state. I didn't know how to answer this because anything can happen while traveling. As one last precaution I took the 4Runner over to a different shop then the one who did all the work. This other shop specializes in Toyota and they all wanted this truck. They could not believe how nice it is. Anyhow I ask them to go through it and check it out. Last night I went back and ask the owner to drive it home as if it was his truck. This way he can get a good feel for it. If anything needs to be fixed Im guessing they will tell me today. Thank You
