Hi, Check it; Manual 5 speed, sunroof, short wheelbase, rear wheel drive, seats seven and the center seat folds into a bed. This is a van that somebody bought new with a manual gearbox and sunroof in the United States... Today that would be like buying a Tesla with a gas engine. Super rare and a young collectors item.
When I bought it, it was not going anywhere fast. I had my mechanic go through it and fix quite a few things. He replaced the front main seal, fuel pressure regulator, brakes all around including a new rotor and caliper on the front left. Changed oil, filters, bled the brakes and he was ready to go! Tires are like new as well. Oh yeah, these things are ridiculously reliable. The engines are apparently used in forklifts -and a forklift engine should never die because why????- And they don’t shift like a truck, it’s more of a fat go kart feel. AND you are sitting on the wheels with your toes in the nose. It is actually similar to driving a roller coaster. Like I know what driving a roller coaster feels like. Maybe I do. Anyway, back to space can. I mean space van. You should buy it. I also have a bug you could buy and tow behind it. That would make you instantly cool. And even with the 2wd this thing will go anywhere. Put some chains on it and go to alaska.
Starts right up, sounds good, shifts well, 2.0 has more power than it should and stops straight. Isn't that everything?
It's a really cool van. The bones are amazing and it really is a blast to drive. You will never lose money on it and have a great time ENJOYING it... This is no reserve after the starting price so all bids count.
