1986 Toyota short bed pick with 87k original miles. Pick up is a non ac Japenese built model, has the letter J on vin and stamped on the firewall. It has the latches on the tailgate, 22R engine with a 4 manual speed. Pick up has current tags and a clean California title. I drove it 15 miles to my house at 70 mph on the freeway without any issues. Pick up drives straight and suspension feels tight. My uncle has owned this for over two decades and wanted to make it better. He had the bed and weather stripping removed in order to get a nice thorough factory tan paint job. He installed new tires and had the bed sprayed with liner immediately after. He was in the process of improving the interior as well and removed the kick panels, seat belts, heater controller cover, and radio. Unfortunately, due to illness, the pick up is been in his garage for 4 months and has not seen any progress. Pick up was started every 2 weeks to keep the battery fresh. The tough decision was made to sell the pick up in its current condition. Overall a rust free, absolutely solid pick up. A great candidate to keep as an original pick up or turn into a serious build.
