This is a ultra rare Left-Hand Drive 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ70 Turbo Diesel 2.4L.
The real deal.
This is not a project car, but an excellent working and restored example of one of the most rugged and capable SUV's to be placed on this planet.
The vehicle was originally from Malaga, Spain and imported to the U.S. in October of 2016.
It was then bought by the general manager of a large Toyota dealership, who then auctioned it off to pay for his daughter's wedding.
This vehicle was never available in the US and is rare, being an actual Left-Hand drive model makes it even more rare.
This vehicle meets all U.S. requirements and is currently titled in Texas.
A complete frame off restoration was performed after arriving in the U.S.
It has a manual transmission, 4x4 with a rebuilt Garrett turbo. Power windows. Front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The undercarriage is clean, rust free, resprayed and restored. The engine is in excellent condition and working in top shape. The radiator was rebuilt and a new battery was installed. The exhaust is all new.
The engine was rebuilt by a Toyota dealer and the work is warrantied. New timing belt, water pump, and many other things.
The alternator was also rebuilt. The clutch slave cylinder was also replaced. The engine mounts and body mounts were replaced with factory new mounts.
This vehicle body was removed from the frame and restored to a show quality finish. Matching numbers motor and transmission are original to the vehicle.
This car has only been serviced by a Toyota dealer (aside from the alternator being rebuilt) and is has most of its records since coming to the USA.
Most work has been done over the past 12 months, the largest and most recent was the engine rebuild done by a highly reputable Toyota dealer in Jan 2018.
No work on motor or transmission is needed...not even a hint of anything seeping on this car.
The vehicle locks were replaced with new OEM. All the weather seals and trim pieces were replaced with new ones from factory. The headlights, turning signals, brake lights were also replaced with new factory lights. The bumpers were customized to the vehicle with rhino lining paint and LED lights as well as a 12,000 lb winch.
The undercarriage was resprayed. The interior flooring was sprayed with armored lining for maximum protection and durability. The vehicle interior roof was replaced with high quality wood. The vehicle also comes with a custom roof rack which is removable.
The vehicle is in great working condition and has been driven since its restoration on a regular basis. This car starts and runs like new.
I spoke with the prior owner and he estimated that about $40,000 overall was invested since it was shipped to the USA.
There are two small dents on underside of car, but are scheduled to be repaired soon.
The Toyota dealer accidentally did this with the lift when it was serviced.
This is a no accident car.
