1977 FJ40 Toyota LandCruiser
The FJ40 is one of the most iconic vehicles known to man, and now one of the most desirable and collectable. Legendary for having traversed nearly every possible terrain on planet earth and beautiful in its utilitarian simplicity. Of all the FJ40s to arrive to our shores in their three decade run, the most desirable are the later 70’s to early 80’s due to Toyota’s enduring commitment to refinement and quality. This specimen exemplifies that tenet – it is finished in one of the FJ40’s most iconic colors, Toyota’s Olive Green (653), making it a striking representation of its class.
The attention to detail of every aspect of this genuine nut and bolt rotisserie restoration is virtually unrivaled. This is museum/showroom quality, but also built to be driven and enjoyed. This is my eighth FJ40 restoration of this quality, and truly my best work to date. Other examples of my previous LandCruiser restorations can be found on display on Toyota dealership showroom floors, in multiple museums, and even featured in an online “Classic Review” (Jalopnik, 2017) as the example representing the brand. I am not a dealer or a company with deadlines, commissions, or investors; I am a one-man operation, a perfectionist and passionate about what I do. I have over 25 years of FJ40 ownership and restoration experience.
Take a close look at the photos and video as I believe they exemplify the level of quality and detail. That said, this Fj40 is even more impressive in person. I will gladly answer any inquiries from serious potential buyers. An extensive outline of the entire restoration, accompanied by photo documentation, and photos of my previously finished work are available by request.
You will not find a finer example anywhere else. Do not miss your chance to own it.
