You are bidding on a very nice, rust free, example of an iconic FJ40 Toyota Landcruiser
It is mostly original, the exceptions are- Weber carburetor conversion, Delco alternator, fuse block/wiring harness, steering stabilizer, gauges.
It retains the original three speed on the column, the original numbers matching engine, the original power take off winch, etc.
This vehicle was stripped down to the bare metal, before primer/sealer/paint. The front fenders are new (originals were replaced because of dents/rips-not because they were rusted).
It was one family owned prior to me buying it a year and a half ago.
The previous owner marked on the glove box, that the transmission, and transfer case were rebuilt in 1993, when it had 92,266 miles (currently has 108,866), I have no receipts, and the glove box has since been painted.
Hard to find one of these that isn't all rusted out, or with a SBC conversion, that has a reasonable reserve price.
It does have a hard top, it hasn't been restored (see pictures), I was going to go the bikini top, or full soft top route.
I believe this was originally an FST (factory soft top)
