1973 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Additional Info:
Modified with Chevy 350 auto on the floor (geared low, so max speed 60), power steering, power brakes (I'll include original drum brakes), automatic transmission, air-con ready (vents are installed, and I will include remaining parts), new stereo (original still on the dash) with radio, CD player, and USB slot (to use with iPod or iPhone). 4-new speakers: 2-front, 2-back. Also 5-new Hancook tires, new carburetor and custom roof rack, powder coated and adorned with Toyota/Chevrolet emblem. I will include tie downs for spare tire if you want to keep it up top. Interior all original, driver's side front seat is torn, passenger and jump seats remain in great condition. Body all original. I've photographed every blemish I can see on the body; I noted 3 points where rust could take hold. Everything else is surface. Battery is in front bumper and is maybe 3-months old; a really cool conversion. All doors work well, and electrical is golden. There is a midline where you can remove the top and put down the windshield, so it looks like an army vehicle, or an awesome surf ride. FJ drives like a hot rod, and the engine roars. 4WD shreds it perfectly. Tuned the Chevota up recently, so it purrs when it's running. This jeep is a really bitchin' ride and draws a lot of attention, so you gotta look sharp when you take the wheel.
