1991 Toyota Cressida- Garage / Barn Find - 43k Miles - Estate Sale - One Owner
Thank You for looking at our eBay listing. Today we have for you what I think is a pretty rare find this is a 1991 Toyota Cressida that is absolutely estate/barnfresh . it is a one owner, with an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 43,973 ORIGINAL MILES. .(absolutely documented by CarFax) MILES ARE 100% GENUINE and work out to just 1,691 miles per year)
this Toyota Cressida was owned by an 92-year-old lady from Stamford CT. Overall I would say the car is in great condition the only issue being one rust area above the passenger side rear wheel please look at the photographs we took of the underside of the car showing the car is not completely rotted out or a "rustbucket" as they say. is been garaged (in cement floor garage) since day one. she never drove it in rain/snow. my mechanic put in on the lift he said undercarriage has "zero rust" (a figure of speech - but I get the point meaning very little if any rust) . . . . see photos (we can email you a few more pics of underneath), also this car never "sat" (which is the worst thing for a car) . . . . it was driven once a week to doctors and grocery store, appointments, etc. . . .
in the glove box, we found a handful of service records and paperwork (CarFax shows many of the repairs that have been done). .we ALSO found the owner's manuals/booklets AND the original WINDOW STICKER and even the SALES ORDER !!!, business cards of salesman, other documents, etc etc (see photo) this car was $25,793 in 1991 (which is $47,048 in 2017 dollars)
Mechanically this car is absolutely incredible it has an in-line six-cylinder engine and obviously every power option imaginable including . . .
inline six-cylinder engine 3.0 L 24 valve twin cam engine
automatic transmission
power steering
Antilock brakes ($1,130 option)
power brakes ($880 option)
power windows
power seatbelts
power door locks
air conditioning
Full-size spare
sunroof ($810 option)
cruise control
AM/FM
tilt steering wheel
alloy wheels
it runs and drives absolutely 1000% like a brand new car it runs at the proper temperature no engine noises no ticking, no smoke, nothing. The brakes are perfect, the only flaws I would say is the rust spot above the rear wheel there's a tiny bit of rust at the bottom of the door jam (very bottom of dogleg on both sides - very minor again) - we were thinking of having the rust repaired but after doing a little bit of research I've learned that this is a very popular car to customize/restore so I figured I'd leave it all original "as found" untouched condition sometimes when you see a car that's had body work done people start to wonder well "just how bad was it "or "was this thing in a really bad accident" so on and so forth . .so we are selling AS-IS . .AS FOUND. . The interior is in great shape . . . .no tears in seats or door panels. . .headliner is fine. . .the drivers side carpet is torn (heel pad area). . .clear coat on alloy wheels is flawed (should be redone) . . . NEVER smoked in (lighter and ashtray unused) . . NO kids NO pets . . . .
this car has been completely dealer serviced by Toyota of Stamford (Connecticut) it's entire life, The Carfax is completely perfect no accidents no damage no issues. there are 52 records on the Carfax for service. every single one of them done at the Toyota dealer in Stamford CT, the timing belt was replaced at 34,187 miles (less than 12,000 miles ago) it has been garage kept since day one we have the original 1991 title indicating her birthdate of 1928 - every single thing that was ever done to this car was done at the dealer. all we did to the car was wash it and photograph and that's it -this is a pretty rare find don't let it slip past you
bottom line. . . .there is nothing equal to this one on eBay
This is a ONE OWNER CAR - OWNED BY AN88 YEAR OLD WOMAN (look at the photo of her birthdate on the title). . . all the proof you need.
this vehicle must be paid for within 72 HOURS OF AUCTION END we will assist with shipping, we have some VERY reasonable shippers - upon receipt of payment, we will overnight title, bill of sale and paperwork to you within 48 hours. (we prefer wire transfer) We have access to some VERY reasonable shippers. we will assist you in shipping the car. . .AND we will handle booking and meeting the shipper, and as a courtesy, we will contribute $100 towards shipping.
because this car is 25 years old it can be registered/insured as a classic/antique . . . . classic / antique registration is VERY inexpensively. a HUGE bonus. . . .
like any car 25+ years old, expect some dings, scrapes, dents, rust, light wear, ALL flaws (unless otherwise mentioned) are very minor, if the car was perfect, it would be advertised as perfect.
Please ask your wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, significant other, grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, dog, cat, psychic . . . for permission AND any financial issues resolved BEFORE you bid, I have heard every excuse of why a high bidder can't complete the deal, including "my cat walked across keyboard and accidentally bid on it" . .YES, that was a real "excuse" someone gave us. . . .
I just wanted to mention that on this car other than the rust spot over the wheel as shown and two spots at the bottom of each door the car is virtually rust free - if you look at the photo of undercarriage that is the original black factory undercoating, in this part of the country every Cressida I've ever seen rusted away to nothing, this car is virtually rust free the paint is very shiny - regards to the miles I have page by page documentation of the mileage from the day she bought it till a few months ago the mileage is 100% authentic and guaranteed original you have to remember this woman was 71 years old when she bought it, she's 92 years old now. we can email you additional pictures of the undercarriage and pictures of the Carfax if you like
PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE BIDDING TO OWN THE CAR NOT BIDDING TO WIN THE CHANCE TO COME AND KICK THE TIRES AND THEN DECIDE IF YOU WANT IT, PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING, WE WILL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING.
