1987 Toyota Supra Non Turbo Additional Info:
This is a rare, collectible, one-owner, garage-kept, meticulously maintained car with 65,179 original miles (as of 9-17-17). Purchased new in March, 1987 but not driven much since 2004 due to owner's increasing physical disabilities (hip replacement, spine surgery, and upcoming knee replacement). The car has been maintained mostly by London Auto in Falls Church, VA. The owner of the shop knows the car very well and can speak to potential buyers about it. Contact me for his phone number (serious inquiries only, please). The car is in truly excellent condition and has been babied throughout its life.
All parts are original to the car except: stereo and speakers (replaced with an Alpine AM/FM Cassette head unit and a rear-mounted 6-Disc CD Changer), the passenger outside mirror and the passenger door trim (see next paragraph). Everything works as expected except the driver's side vanity mirror (shorted out) and the driver's front seat bottom elevator (motor runs but is not engaging). Two 6-disc cd cartridges are included with the car. A custom-fit Tyvek car cover is also included
There was body work and painting required by glancing collision with a young deer in 2003. The passenger mirror torn loose and was replaced by a new part, the RF fender, passenger door, and RR fender repainted (due to absence of clear body creases, new paint was carried over the roof). No other collisions, ever.
Car has been garaged, never driven on salted roads, has always been filled with 93 Octane Shell, Mobil, Exxon or BP gas. Mobil 1 Synthetic oil used for the past 20 years (at the cost of $70 over the standard $19.95). Full record of major service is available as is the original window sticker, owner's manual, rust-proofing receipt, original sales brochure, etc. There is no rust on the car anywhere. The interior is in incredibly good condition for a 30-year old car - the back seat was never used. There are a few minor door dings (too difficult to photograph) that could be fixed with paint-less technique.
It starts and runs great, AC runs cold, handles like a car on rails. Tires are not new but have deep tread. Needs an owner who can drive it as a GT car should be! (I drive it about 30 miles every week or two to keep seals and systems working). This was always our trip car, not a daily driver.
