1979 Toyota Corolla Sr5 Additional Info:
Up for sale is my 1979 toyota corolla liftback.Car was a barn find in July I have owned the car for a few months and have decided to part with it to get a down payment on another daily driver. I bought car with 50,400 or so miles and have put on about 700-1,000 miles of casual driving. Just take it out on weekends. Gets more compliments that any car I have ever owned. Does have a re-spray on black and there are some small areas of surface rust but I have been told by a few people, mainly the company that fixed exhaust and welded new muffler on, that the bottom side was pretty clean for a car being almost 40 years old. Would like some one to take the time that I can't into making this last another 40 years. Some of the work that I have some over the last couple months.-few oil changes 3 to be exact and switched to 10w-40 for heavier weight oil pressure is good-drained and replaced both Diff fluid and tranny fluid with lucas oil 75w-90 synthetic-All new spark plugs, along with rotor, cap, wires.-new air filter-new front wheel bearings and seals professionally pressed in-new rotors and brake pads- new kyb struts and ac Delco front OEM springs- new kyb rear shock absorbers (not installed yet will come with car)-Also set of 4 oem Datsun rims with 4x4.5 bolt pattern come with (no tires)- car runs and drives fine just needs some TLC, would be great car for a engine swap or a drift project since it is RWD and shares the same designed T50 transmission from the corolla ae86 (just different splines I believe).
Thx and happy bidding.
