This is one of the nicest, if not the nicest, Land Cruisers you will ever see!
No expense was spared on this resto-mod. As you can tell from the pictures, the beauty is in the details. It would be difficult to list everything that was done in this Cruiser’s restoration, but rest assured all of the big points were covered. Frame off. Drivetrain rebuild. Power steering. Brakes. Aluminum tub. Custom driveshafts. ETC. If it wasn’t replaced, it was rebuilt. The cruiser is in museum show condition. And keep in mind, this was not done in someone’s backyard, this was a professional restoration.
This is a 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40. Since Restoration, it has had 3,000 miles of driving to the lake. It maintains its matching number powertrain, but has been upgraded with modern conveniences such as an electric fan, Webber Carburetor, and power steering. Starting with the outside, one of the first things you will notice is the metallic green paint (Toyota Emerald Jade Metallic) along with the giant chrome PROCOMP wheels and PROCOMP mud tires. Even though this thing could handle most anything off-road, the pictures in this auction is the most “off-roading” it has ever done. A paved creek crossing at a local state park. Once you make your way inside you will first notice the incredibly comfortable Corbeau Baja seats, PROCOMP gauges, and Line-X flooring. Typically, you should be suspiscious of any Land Cruiser with a bedlinered interior because that is the best way to high rust or poor bodywork. However, in this case that is not a concern because it has a $10,000.00 aluminum tub that was brand new. I believe that this is one of the best parts of this cruiser. In most any restoration, rust eventually comes back through, especially on Land Cruiser tubs. Rest assured, it will never come back on this tub.
Again, while it would be difficult to mention every little nut and bolt that was replaced on this cruiser, you can believe that it was done. Below I have listed a few of the aftermarket items that were put on the cruiser. If you have any questions, would like to see any additional pictures, or would like to come inspect it personally, please feel free to let me know.
Also, there is a reserve on this auction. Over $70,000.00 was paid to make this cruiser what it is today, but the reserve is just a fraction of that cost. I am a serious seller, so bid on it to win it, because someone else is going to own this thing in 7 days!
