1970 Toyota Land Cruiser Additional Info:
This is a Real Auction .... no Reserve $1Starting Price .... Someone will be the new owner of this Land Cruiser!
This vehicle is so nice it still has the factory Toyota tools and the correct canvas roll bag, it has the owner's manual and the receipts for oil changes. It has the 1970 Toyota color catalog. The whole vehicle is that nice!
This vehicle has been garage kept in Arizona and Texas.
Original 65,000 miles. Three speed on the column. Spare tire with cover. It starts and runs, it shifts, it is a working, driving machine.Heater, windshield wipers, all knobs and handles work. That's crazy; most cars today are not that dependable.Original seat covers, original seat belts, all the doors and windows function.Tires are in very good condition. The windshield is damage free. The roof has no dents. There is no apparent body damage or areas that appear repaired. This is a private sale, I am not a dealer. If you would like to inspect the Land Cruiser, come to Texas.I am not a car guy, so if you ask technical questions I will probably just send you more photos.
I had a fuel line replaced when we purchased the vehicle. The paint looks correct but I assume it is not factory as it would be 47 years old.The only known non-factory items are a stereo system mounted above the mirror with two speakers behind the seat. There is also a removable electronic key in the ignition wiring to prevent theft, see photos. The parking brake does not work.I have had this Land Cruiser eight years and drove it seven miles; I love it but don't drive it enough, so now it can be yours.
If you knowLand Cruisers you know original ones like this one are rare, don't let this one get away.
Why do I own it?I travel to Africa extensivelyfor work. When you see how Land Cruisers perform under those harsh conditions, you gotta own one.I have been driving current model Land Cruisers exclusively for 20 years and just love them.
