1983 Toyota Other Base Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door Additional Info:

Up for bid is a 1983 Toyota Trailblazer. These are very rare conversions by Griffith. Essentially, they are the standard Toyota 4x4 short bed converted into an SUV. They are a lot like the first generation 4Runners, but older. Toyota started selling 4Runners in 1984. Trailblazers, along with the Trekker by Winnebago and Wolverine, were sold before Toyota started the 4Runner Line.
This Trailblazer is in solid condition for it age. It seems to have been painted a few times, but shows no sign of rust. Thought it runs and drives, it will need work to get back to daily driver condition. I haven't started it in months and fired up really easy just before posting this.
This truck is in far from perfect condition. It is definitely a project. The interior is typical of a vehicle this old; it is worn, has rips but is mostly complete. The exterior is much of the same condition: the rear driver-side fender and flare have a dent, the rear glass door is missing, the hood is warped (replacement hood included).

I originally bought this truck to restore, but haven't touched it since I bought it nearly two years ago. It's has been kept in out of the elements in my storage facility in Southern California since I got it. Now I just need the space back for current projects. I don't know too much about the history of this truck other than I got it from someone who bought it at auction. I have the title in hand.
Buy It Now Price: It is really hard to put a value on a vehicle like this. However, you can't find very many 1983 4x4 Toyota short beds for sale at all and when they do sell you can expect to pay between $4000-7000 for a vehicle in similar condition.
In all, its a good truck for anyone looking who collects Toyotas or just wants a first gen to play with. It would be a great vehicle for camping!
Please feel free to ask me anything about the vehicle. I will try to respond to all questions within a few hours of receiving them.
