Retired Bigfoot monster truck driver selling my 92 Toyota Hilux extended cab pick-up. This is the last year to be made in Japan before model changed to Tacoma.
I bought this as a project truck, thinking it would be the last truck I would buy since I have retired. But my grandsons keep growing so I decided to get a bigger truck. It still needs minor body work and paint, but since I’m a mechanic it got everything else it needed:
Replaced heads, new head bolts
Checked main and rod bearings, like new
Replaced front and rear crank shaft seals, valve cover and intake gaskets replaced. Adjusted valves
Put in new oil pump, timing belt and all timing idler pulleys
New water pump and thermostat - 190°
New knock sensor and T.P.S. throttle position sensor
New water temp and computer water temp sensor
New exhaust system with the crossover exhaust deleted
Replaced air intake piping and air filter
New A.C. pump, low pressure hose, receiver dryer and charged unit
New heavy duty Odyssey battery
New spark plugs
New oil pan gaskets 5 w-40 oil and filter
New belts: P.S, A.C. ALT
New lower radiator hose, radiator cap and Toyota anti-freeze with distilled water
New flywheel – Marlin Crawler HD clutch and throwout bearing and slave cylinder
New gas tank, fuel filter and all fuel injectors sonicly cleaned and flowed
Installed new Warn lockout hubs, rear diff., pinion seal and transmission top-shift lever guide
Changed all drive line fluids to Lucas Oil synthetic
Installed Chevy 61” leaf spring conversion in the rear for a great ride
Installed new double din radio with USB and iPod ports
Replaced front speakers
Installed later model 4-runner wheels and new Firestone A.T. tires with new front brakes and idler arm
Matching shell available but not pictured
This truck is road-ready to go anywhere. Heat, AC, cruise control, tilt wheel. Everything works. 5-speed shifts smooth. The only thing it needs is a paint job. I replaced the right front fender, which had the only rust on the truck. It has 223,900 miles on it – 16,000 since I bought it in 2012
