I never had this thing running and just sat here for years. It has a salvage title. When I was working on it, I was kinda surprised how well everything was on it. No idiot lights coming on and it passed smog with flying colors! All the doors worked and still works great. Washed the van today and there was no leaks anywhere. Looks like someone tried to get into the van at some point. They screwed with the lock on the passenger door. I think it still works though. It never got opened and does lock. When I bought it the seller told me he had trouble with it overheating. I was going to take the head off and get all the work done and put it back on. It did have a couple of water leaks that needed to be worked on too. I basically just bought the van and had it mostly just sitting there. This has a set of 4 of the original wheels shown. The clear coat is peeling bad on this. The windshield is going to need to be replaced. There's I thing 3 spots where cancer is starting to get to it. I do have the matching bench seat and two bucket seats for the back. All the switches was working when I was working on it last time. The AC was disconnected and I'm sure will need some work to it.
The van will be here for anyone that wishes to come by and look everything over. I did put a new water pump and radiator in this.
I'm thinking everything is in pretty good shape in the drive train. For the limited time I had it on the road, it shifted fine and rolled fine. When I bought this from the owner, I was looking things over and shifted it into 4X4 (when it was stopped). It worked fine in 4X4, but the owner didn't know how to get it out of 4X4! I had to read the manual on how to disengage it! You drive the van backwards btw. It was safe to say the owner before me never drove it in 4X4. I never did either. I put less than 100 miles on it, and that's including getting it home when it was bought.
The body is really in great shape for a vehicle that is 30 years old with the original paint on it. The pics do a fairly good job on showing the shape of it. The worst body damage is on the passenger side. There's some damage on panel above the right rear tire. The pics don't really show it well.
Please get back to me if you have any questions and want to come by and take a look.
