1986 Toyota Other Additional Info:
I am selling my 1986 Toyota Pickup. Due to family size and occupation I am in need of a bigger truck. It has not only been my daily driver for the past two years, but has made countless trips over 300 miles in that time as well. This is a very reliable truck. Located on Hatteras island but truck has only been here for 6 months. NOT a beach truck.
WILL POTENTIALLY DELIVER TO NC/VA (excluding northern VA) MESSAGE ME FOR DETAILS. OTHERWISE PICKUP ONLY.
24 MPG HWY
-Runs great. 185,700 mi on original 22RE engine. Miles will increase as I put aroud 300 miles on it each week. Original owner did a rebuild around 145,000.-The Frame is in excellent shape, especially for this particular truck. No rust.
-Oil Changed every 3k religiously, and has never burned or leaked any oil.
-Transmission is in great shape, shifts smooth
-Interior is very well kept and incredibly clean. Pretty sure original owner had plastic on the seats for the first 20 or so years. A couple cosmetic heat cracks on the dash
-there is no lift, just added leaf springs to level it.
-Rear shocks replaced 3 months ago
-Body has several small rust spots and some small scratches as you can see in pictures.
-Bed has had a liner as long as I have had it, and has only had the camper off once for a couple days. Honestly I have never seen the bed under the liner, but from below it does not seem to have any significant rust.
-The bumper was bent back to almost a 90 degree angle by a 6x6 post that caught hold of it about 2 months ago. It was pushed back into place, resulting in a bit of a crooked smile, but no damage beyond that. Price reflects this damage.
- Tailgate is only spot that has significant rust, will need to be replaced eventually but still functions for now.
-Brake booster and Master Cylinder replaced just over a year ago.
-2nd owner had exhaust modified to a header to high flow to maximize air flow and has a knn air filter on it.
- updated Kenwood stereo system with a pioneer speaker behind both seats
- Brand new battery
-No A/C.Heat works well
-4x4 works great
-Tires are 30x9.50 and a little under 3 years old, so about 40k miles on them. Tread is in good shape. front passenger side has had two leaks, both caused by nails and both professionally repaired.
-Records of work done included, as well as original owners manual and Toyota repair manual.
This truck has always gotten me from point A to point B, including multiple trips over 300
Mi and up to 500
Thats all I can think of right now, please contact me with any other questions and serious offers.
