1980 Toyota Land Cruiser Additional Info:

I am selling my 1991 Toyota Landcruiser PZJ77,this is a rhd cruiser imported from Japan. It only has 90 k miles or about 150K km on it.It has 4 new winter tires on it and I just did the regular maintenance on it.I bought this cruiser about a year ago because I had never owned a 77 series model before,I did own several 70,71 series and still have a mid wheel base 73 and long wheelbase 75.It turns out since it is just me,my wife and our 2 dogs that I am not using this 4 door cruiser much but mostly use one of the 2 door versions that I have. When I bought this 77 series it had some rust on the rear quarter panel and wheel arches like most of them, all rust has been cut out and replaced with new metal ( I import and sell replacement body parts for the 70 series in the US).I never liked the color so it has been repainted silver which to me is the best looking color for these lwb 4 door cruisers. It has a TJM aluminium bumper on it with a led lightbar .It gets about 20 to 25 mpg depending on your drive style and if you are driving city traffic or freeway.I hve about 20 years of experience in owning and maintaining Toyota Diesel Cruisers and can tell you that this one has a very solid drivetrain with many more miles to go.
This Cruiser will make someone a great overland or expedition vehicle since it is the base model so there is not much to go wrong on a trip outside of civilization. The 1PZ is the predecessor to the still in production 1HZ 6 cylinder diesel engine and it shares many parts with i, transmission is the R151 that can also still be found today in new Toyota 70 series so parts availability will be no problem for a very long time!
The interior of the Cruiser has some wear on it,I installed some seat covers on the front seats and put some mats in it.Everything works except the radio and the blower fan only works on the 2 higher settings(rheostat needs to be replaced and I can do this if wanted)
This is not a new show car and I am not making up a story of how this was a spare car in some biljonnairs collection,it is what it is and I welcome anybody for an inspection and a test drive.I am about one hour from both DFW and Love field airport in Dallas.
It is also for sale local and I reserve the right to end the listing at anytime.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me 4692680007
Thank you
Joe

A few asked me why the Cruiser is listed as both a 1980 and 1991,this is because Ebay does not accept the shorter Vin of the imported CRuiser so the only way to list it is as a vehicle older then 1981 here.
I also want to ad that there are a few Land Cruisers on Ebay now that look very similar to this one but this is the Heavy Duty version with the bigger 1PZ Dieselengine, not the troublesome 2LT motor.
