I've taken her on and off the market a gazillion times, finally gonna get rid of her this time. The family is just too big. I want to sale/trade my '86 Samurai. Restored. Completely rebuilt 1.9 VW TD AAZ engine (with the crank mod), Suzuki 5 speed...like the JMNY in Europe, ACME's heavy duty clutch. Clean from top to bottom, but she's a driver. But I've never beaten her off road, didn't have the heart too. This is how Suzuki should've built all of them.
This is a professionally-built conversion/swap done by ACME Adapters. Never beat up in the woods. Interior is done too...Saturn seats...back seat(folding jumper)...carpet...soft and hardtop...fun in the sun. This rig gets fantastic mpg's and is as reliable as the day is long. As capable as a commuter as it is off road. If you're in the market for a diesel Samurai, this is the one to have.
